Doc Text:	Due to a changed Java Open Single Sign On JOSSO agent API, it was only possible to upgrade JOSSO to v1.8.1. An upstream fix was applied to JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform which allows later JOSSO versions to be applied after v1.8.1. A changed JOSSO agent API between JOSSO versions v1.8.1 and v1.8.2 requires different packaging, which has changed some procedures. Refer to the updated procedures in the <citetitle>Reference Guide</citetitle> "Java Open Single Sign-On Project" section for more details.	Story Points:	---

Currently, we support EPP 5.1 with JOSSO 1.8.1 (Tomcat version).

But the josso 1.8.1 distribution package does not contain an agent for jboss 5. It only contains agent for jboss 4.2
josso 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 does contain an agent for jboss 5.

The release note of josso 1.8.2 [1] refers to a jira to certify with jboss 5. The jira indicates it as a critical issue for 1.8.1 and resolved for 1.8.2

This request is raised to update the EPP 5 / JOSSO integration to a newer version, in order to implement SSO with JOSSO between EPP 5 and another application running on EAP 5.

This is fixed in SSO component thanks to GTNSSO-1 . It will be available in EPP after update of SSO component to the particular version where GTNSSO-1 is fixed. There is also documentation update needed and jira for it is JBEPP-1474 .

We still support old JOSSO 1.8.1 but there is added support for newer versions like 1.8.2 and 1.8.3.

Release notes: CAUSE: Previously it was possible to integrate EPP only with JOSSO 1.8.1

FIX: It's fixed in EPP SSO component, which has been updated in EPP to have the fix available. Now it's still possible to integrate with JOSSO 1.8.1 but also with newer versions like 1.8.2, 1.8.3, 1.8.4 and 1.8.5. 

There is changed JOSSO agent API between JOSSO versions 1.8.1 and 1.8.2, which means that we need to have slightly different packaging for JOSSO 1.8.1 and for JOSSO 1.8.2 and newer.
