Description Tihomir 2012-02-17 12:04:02 UTC
Laggish perfomance on a dual-core 4GB system running skype and Firefox is unacceptable, or so I believe. Please include an option, possibly during installation, of using a patched kernel installed from an rpm. I'm not requesting inclusion in official repositories, and not requesting full support, but at least package something more appropriate for non-server use.

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 2012-02-17 14:22:37 UTC
Moving to anaconda, but I can't imagine that adding support to the installer for adding software to the installation set that's not packaged in the repositories will have much traction.

Comment 2 Brian Lane 2012-02-18 01:49:56 UTC
Users can already add their own repositories to the install process. This should be sufficient for those that need a custom set of packages.
