Description Steven J. Levine 2012-02-17 17:50:29 UTC
RHEL 7 will support user-friendly disk names:

https://home.corp.redhat.com/wiki/rhel-7-feature-page-user-friendly-disk-names

This bug is to note any impact this will have on the LVM documentation.

Brassow:

I'm not sure where this feature stands in terms of documentation for RHEL 7.4.

Spoke with jbrassow. No current plans to implement this feature so I'm closing this BZ. If we add this feature we will go through the usual process of cloning a new doc BZ at that time.
