Description Tony Browning 2012-02-19 01:00:38 UTC
Description of problem: Can't install nor uninstall packages in Add/Remove Software.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Everytime.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I tried uninstalling a package in add/remove software.
2. An internal error appeared saying this was unexpected and to report this as a bug.
3. Yum gives me a retrace.

Actual results: Never uninstalled the package.

Expected results: To uninstall or install a package.

Additional info: This is the Retrace: Well, correction, i had copied the backtrace sent from user/share/packagekit...with certain lines on it.(something about the parser at the end) but it disapears and the copy i had saved disapears. Not all the time, but most of the time it gives this reading: The action was forcibly canceled successfully and no packets were changed. The backend did not exit cleanly. -more details, process had to be killed to be cancelled.

Seth, consider this Fixed-For-Me. I just had duplicates, unclean installs and needed updating etc. Thanks.
