Description Harald Reindl 2012-02-20 02:25:39 UTC
F15: libevent-2.0.10-3.fc15.x86_64
Upstream: http://libevent.org/ (libevent-2.0.17)

2.0.14:
Memory leak fixes from Leonid Evdokimov

i fear that the new dbmail3 after two days running consuming
940 MB memory may be caused by this

Comment 1 Steve Dickson 2012-04-04 19:27:36 UTC
I would rather not make such of a large jump in version. F16 does have a the fixed version.

Comment 2 Harald Reindl 2012-04-04 19:35:57 UTC
well, one more package i build myself
and yes it worked perfectly for F15

BTW: 2.0.18 is stable
libevent-2.0.18-3.fc16.20120325.rh.x86_64

no understanding that fedora sometimes throws out alpha and pre-alpha software for the sake of the change to GA releases and on the other hand some packages are very poorly maintained
