Created attachment 564958 [details]
part of server log showing the errors

Description of problem:
When a user terminates a process instance, an error is logged to the server log.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
BRMS 5.3.0 ER4

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import jbpm_example_repository.xml into Guvnor and build the defaultPackage.
2. Open the jbpm-console, log in.
3. Start the Evaluation process, enter krisv and some reason into the form.
4. Log out and log in as krisv. Go to Personal Tasks.
5. Complete the task.
6. Go to Process Overview, click Evaluation and select the instance. Click Terminate. (Still as krisv.)

Actual results:
The instance disappears from the console, but 2 errors are logged:
ERROR [STDERR] org.jbpm.task.service.PermissionDeniedException: User '[User:'Administrator']' does not have permissions to execution operation 'Skip' on task id 3
ERROR [STDERR] org.jbpm.task.service.PermissionDeniedException: User '[User:'Administrator']' does not have permissions to execution operation 'Skip' on task id 2

Expected results:
The instance disappears and no error is logged.

Comment 1 Zuzana Krejčová 2012-03-13 13:56:57 UTC
The same happens when deleting an instance. The number of errors logged corresponds with the number of active tasks not completed (for the process instance deleted).

Comment 3 Maciej Swiderski 2012-04-02 08:20:53 UTC
This is already included as part of issue 802797 and it is already merged into 5.2.x and master.

Comment 4 Ryan Zhang 2012-04-23 07:37:03 UTC
Update status to ON_QA. Please verify them against ER6.
