Description of problem:
The Debug level for sss_debuglevel cannot be set with the option --debug

[root@fedora-client sss_tools]# rpm -q sssd

How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run sss_debuglevel --debug=1
2. sss_debuglevel --debug=0x0020

  
Actual results:
[root@fedora-client sss_tools]# sss_debuglevel --debug=1
Usage: sss_debuglevel [-?] [-?|--help] [--usage] [--debug=INT] [-c|--config STRING] DEBUG_LEVEL_TO_SET
Specify debug level you want to set
[root@fedora-client sss_tools]# sss_debuglevel --debug=0x0020

Expected results:
The Debug Level should be set accordingly

You are actually using the tool incorrectly. The --debug=N value is actually not supposed to be visible in the --help output. It's actually there for debugging the tool itself, not changing the debug level of the SSSD.

The correct syntax for changing SSSD's debug level is:

sss_debuglevel 0xFFF0
or
sss_debuglevel 4

We're going to fix this upstream so that the --debug=N option is hidden from the --help, to avoid confusion.

* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing sssd-1.8.1-7.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
