Description Vladimir Sokolovsky 2012-03-07 17:05:01 UTC
Description of problem:
DUD requires configuration files (/etc/depmod.d/*) to be added to the KMP RPMs in order to support errata kernels update.
This cannot be done in a regular way (using "$kmp_override_filelist") due to bug in kmodtool which was fixed in RHEL6.x.

As a workaround, the following wiki can be used:

http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/BuildingKernelModules
- Describes how to override original kmodtool.

I do not think this bug deserve a fix in 5.11, and I do not have plan to fix it, if you think this bug should be fixed, please set pm_ack for it, thanks.
