Description Peter Rajnoha 2012-03-08 12:33:27 UTC
Description of problem:
When using two displays in non-mirror mode configuration, any newly opened window on secondary display do not get focus and it also starts hidden under currently focused window thus making it very confusing to use. Focusing works fine while using one display only - newly opened window gets to the foreground and gets focus.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-3.2.2.1-1.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
Using two (maybe reproducible with more, I haven't tried) displays in non-mirror mode. Opening any new window on secondary display.

Actual results:
Newly opened window starts in background of currently focused window and newly opened window does not get focus.

Expected results:
Just like it happens on primary display (even with this multiple display configuration) - newly opened window in foreground and with focus.

This is now working fine in F17. I think we can close this one...
