Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
I'm having an issue promoting a system template in system engine beta4.
01.png - I successfully promoted candlepincert product to environment dev1
02.png - MySystemTemplate contains a package that is contained within the candlepincert product
03.png - The error received when attempting to promote MySystemTemplate from environment library to environment dev1
04.png I can see the package, but I can't add it to a changeset.
It appears that even though I promoted candlepincert repo to dev1 and it contains the package it is failing to promote the system template that names it as a package to dev1. Should I file a bz or am I doing something wrong?
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
CloudForms System Engine Version: 0.1.303-1.el6
Expected results:
Promotion should work
I was not able to reproduce this problem. I did not use the same content as James though. That makes me *highly* suspicious of this package name:
candlepin-cert-consumer-cf-se1.lab.bos.redhat.com
could be related to this:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=786963
James is on PTO for a couple weeks, I'm going to send this back to him and when I get his exact content to reproduce with, I'll reopen if necessary.
