This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'. Created attachment 571132 [details] log from the terminal Description of problem: I've just tried zif [just to make sure yum is not pulling in extra dependencies], and I've noticed the following 2 issues. - old kernels are removed [yum preserves the currently running kernel, and one older kernel] - Also some dependencies were not capatured [as an invocation of yum captured this]. Its possible that both were reading off different mirorrs that was out of sync? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): zif-0.2.7-1.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: invoked zif only once. Steps to Reproduce: 1. zif update [as of this morning] Actual results: old kernels removed.
