Can you clarify things a bit please, when you say: "and then everything hangs.", do you mean that the client machine hangs. Or does the vm crash? IOW do you need to reboot the client, or do you need to reboot the vm (or both) ? I mean, it freezes the client machine. This sounds like the resolution changing spicec does when going fullscreen is tripping a bug in the driver for your graphics card / gpu. What sort of gpu is the machine using? Note that for Fedora-17 we've switched from spicec to the gtk based remote-viewer spice client, which no longer does any resolution switching, so you should not see this problem with Fedora-17. Peter, kuchiman is experiencing a real bug, just not in spice. As soon as we know what gpu he is using I'll change the component to the correct xorg-x11-drv-* package. # lspci | grep ATI 07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Device 710f 07:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc Device 712f Graphics card from ATI and free the driver from the main repository. I tried to reproduce the error with a single monitor. An error does not occur. I do not know how to get more information about the graphics card. This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'.
