Doc Text:
mkdumprd now honours PEERDNS With this update, mkdumprd honours the PEERDNS variable in the kdump environment, so that the user sets PEERDNS=no in a ifcfg-* file, defines their search domain and DNS servers in resolv.conf, which will lead to mkdumprd copying over the settings in resolv.conf file to the equivalent files in the kdump initrd daemon.

This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Since we are unable to provide this feature at this time,
it has been proposed for the next release of
Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 3 RHEL Program Management 2013-10-14 05:04:36 UTC
This request was not resolved in time for the current release.
Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in
the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Still wait for feedback. And the implementation of dhcp are different between RHEL6 and RHEL7. Maybe this issue is more difficult to be fixed in RHEL6.
