:SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/evince-thumbnailer from 'getattr' accesses on the file .
:
:***** Plugin catchall_labels (83.8 confidence) suggests ********************
:
:If you want to allow evince-thumbnailer to have getattr access on the file
:Then you need to change the label on $FIX_TARGET_PATH
:Do
:# semanage fcontext -a -t FILE_TYPE '$FIX_TARGET_PATH'
:where FILE_TYPE is one of the following: fonts_cache_t, thumb_exec_t, shell_exec_t, sysctl_crypto_t, admin_home_t, user_cron_spool_t, cert_t, data_home_t, etc_t, xdm_tmp_t, user_home_type, sssd_public_t, abrt_t, lib_t, ld_so_t, net_conf_t, cpu_online_t, abrt_helper_exec_t, user_tmp_t, logfile, krb5_conf_t, user_tmp_type, passwd_file_t, gstreamer_home_t, textrel_shlib_t, user_home_t, xdm_home_t, rpm_script_tmp_t, thumb_tmp_t, ld_so_cache_t, bin_t, abrt_var_cache_t, samba_var_t, locale_t, sosreport_tmp_t, dosfs_t, etc_t, fonts_t, thumb_t, proc_t, rpm_tmp_t, usr_t, sysfs_t, net_conf_t, user_tmp_t, abrt_var_run_t, audio_home_t, krb5_host_rcache_t.
:Then execute:
:restorecon -v '$FIX_TARGET_PATH'
:
:
:***** Plugin catchall (17.1 confidence) suggests ***************************
:
:If you believe that evince-thumbnailer should be allowed getattr access on the file by default.
:Then you should report this as a bug.
:You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
:Do
:allow this access for now by executing:
:# grep evince-thumbnai /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
:# semodule -i mypol.pp

Comment 1 Miroslav Grepl 2012-03-23 10:28:10 UTC
Where are you placing a file?

A directory is labeled as default_t which means, you will need to tell SELinux how to label it.

Comment 2 Flóki Pálsson 2012-03-23 20:49:12 UTC
>Where are you placing a file?
I dont know.
I can not repeat this.
