Description Joshua Wulf 2012-04-04 13:00:57 UTC
I'm documenting the bugzilla link injection functionality.

Tags have a potential "Bugzilla Product" and "Bugzilla Keyword" property.

According to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=795413#c3 this has some bearing on the injected bugzilla links in output.

Can you give a brief explanation (or a pointer to an existing one) of how this works?

This should have been dealt with ages ago, so it's probably not much use, but here are the basics (although I've described them in that bug):

When a Tag has those properties set, they are then used to generate the "Report a Bug" links when included with a topic. So a use case would be, if I were to set the bugzilla properties on a release tag and then tag my topics that are going to be in that release. This will then make all the topics have that bugzilla data set in the "Report a Bug Links", assuming no Content Spec bugzilla data was specified.

Note however, that the Content Spec mechanism should be the first choice and this is only let in for legacy purposes. In saying that it could and probably should be removed.
