This is the file created when anaconda crashes. It says to send it to bugzilla.
Looks like a kernel issue. <6>EXT3 FS 2.4-0.9.17, 10 Jan 2002 on ide0(3,1), internal journal <6>EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. <6>attempt to access beyond end of device <6>03:01: rw=1, want=1946188912, limit=2882848 The ext3 oops is a side-effect of a core kernel bug where the block device layer corrupts ext3's metadata when asked to access data beyond the end of the device. That is fixed in later kernels. The core problem here is the access beyond end-of-device. That indicates some form of disk corruption, which 99% of the time is due to hardware failure. Are you reformatting the partition each time you try this? Is the exact failure location the same every time? no activity in nearly a year -> closing. |
