With code completion OFF, workbench bombs on random queries. When I say "random," I mean that CERTAIN queries on CERTAIN tables of CERTAIN databases will ALWAYS cause workbench to crash, though the SAME queries on DIFFERENT databases will not. e.g.: SELECT * from gt_contentNST WHERE treeid=5 ...bombs in one database, and succeeds in another. In both cases, the result set should be empty. The command line mysql client works fine in either case. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: mysql-workbench-5.2.42-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) @Alan : this bug is about mysql-workbench-5.2.38-1.fc16, See Bug #851283 Latest version is 5.2.42.
