Description Frantisek Hanzlik 2012-04-08 02:02:13 UTC
Description of problem:
when install system using kickstart file which contains for some reason packages which not exist in declared repo(s), anaconda in its dialog warn about it and allow omit them and go further. But these omited packages are writen to ks file created by anaconda (/root/anaconda-ks.cfg) and its /root/install.log do not indicate nothin about these skipped packages. This does onerous determine which packages was not installed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-16.25

Expected results:
- not installed packages should not be in anaconda-ks.cfg file
- there should be way how easy determine which packages from install ks file was not installed - IMO enough should be adequate lines in install.log (from which these not installed packages will be easy obtained by any text-processing tool as grep/awk etc.)

This should be fixed in the new ui included with anaconda-18.3.
