fix transparency bug
This patch fixes the issues I described with remote ssh X apps.
This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This request was erroneously removed from consideration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4, which is currently under development. This request will be evaluated for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4. The corresponding launchpad bug has this breadcrumb: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/785280/comments/21 Upstream commit 2174f8401 is included in intel 2.17.0 and later, so this should already be fixed by the intel driver rebase in 6.4. Still having trouble with transparency with some icons when sshing to a remote computer. I have xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.16.0-4.el6.x86_64 installed. Sorry for delay in getting back to you about this. Gary this seems to be older than what we have in 6.4 candidate, since the newest is xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.20.8-1.el6 and only this one should contain the patch (Adam correct me if I'm wrong). Do you have an access to latest rhel6.4 composes? If not Adam can we provide test package? I don't think we have access to that because I asked Daniel to look for the package for me in our customer portal today and he could not find version 2.20. (Daniel is one of our employees who has access to https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channels/Beta.do ) Sorry about that. If you can make it available some other way I can test it though. Cheers.
