Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.5.99.903-1.fc17' as soon as you are able to. Is there one available for f16 as well. I don't wanna migrate to a different version of OS just to test this, or install packages that might break deps. not only does this update not fix the clickpad for me, it breaks scrolling on it as seen in bug 813686. xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.5.99.903-2.20120419git11d892964.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.5.99.903-2.20120419git11d892964.fc17 autoscroll fixed but no change in clickpad behaviour. Is there an option I'm missing somewhere? ignore me, it does work, just need to do: synclient RightButtonAreaLeft=3300 RightButtonAreaTop=3999 awesome stuff :) Can we also have this commit in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf please: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-input-synaptics/commit/?id=b6779458bcdb049480310ba1acb3991ad061ffc7 Thanks again :) Can we also have this backported to f16 ;-) .conf file is updated, builds coming up in a tick.
