Will, I've seen somewhere a patch from you, where you removed the stub. Can you push it? I have the same problem after a fresh install of Fedora 17. My keyb is spanish and it works well on X, but tty2,3,... uses US layout. Is there a workaround to fix this? thanks This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 17. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. Description of problem: After selecting keyboard layout in graphical mode, layout on tty2 is not changed. After typing 'loadkeys dvorak' on tty2, layout is not changed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda --version anaconda 17.20 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start graphical installation 2. select non-default keyboard layout 3. switch to tty2 and type Actual results: standart US layout is used. Expected results: selected layout is used. Additional info: in /bin/loadkeys .... try: isys.loadKeymap(sys.argv[1]) except SystemError: pass sys.exit(0) ... I think that it isn't good solution.
