Description Milan Crha 2012-04-12 12:59:08 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #811791 +++

Description of problem:

Evolution will let you create a new calendar, say a gmail calendar, but will not let you add any entries to it. It returns an error saying object cannot be created, calendar does not exist.

Thanks for a bug report. There is filled a similar upstream bug [1], thus I'm moving this there. Please see [1] for any further updates. If possible, please CC yourself there, in case upstream developers will have additional questions.

Comment 1 Milan Crha 2012-04-12 13:02:40 UTC
The upstream bug contains a fix. I suspect that Google made an update to their CalDAV server, and they broke something with it. Note the event is created, only evolution reports an error about unexistent calendar. Also note that their update basically breaks all RHEL releases.

Have the same exact problem with Fedora 16
