Description of problem:ERROR with transaction check vs depsolve:
kernel < 2.6.35.2-9.fc14 conflicts with systemd-37-17.fc16.i686 
While trying to do a system update

I fixed the issue through the terminal and removed the old versions of the kernel.

That isn't a bug.  Certainly not a kernel one anyway.  The systemd package requires a newer kernel.  Glad you got it sorted out.
