How reproducible:
Every Fedora 16 installation?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 16
2. man grub2 || apropos grub2

Actual results:
No manpages.

Expected results:
At least basic manpages poiting to the texinfo I just found (`info grub2`).

Additional info:
Grub2 manpages do exist: Ubuntu includes them (with s/grub2-/grub-/ on the names) and /usr/share/doc/grub2-1.99/README.Fedora points to http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/.

Comment 1 Mads Kiilerich 2012-04-26 10:53:06 UTC
Fedora do not have any policy requiring man pages for all tools.

Grub upstream is dogmatic GNU project and use info - not man pages.

The best solution would be if other distributions upstreamed their man pages and got them maintained - then they would be included in Fedora.
