Thanks for a bug report. It was trying to tell you some issue with GConf, when it crashed. The string in backtrace unfortunately doesn't contain the reason for the issue with GConf. Are you able to reproduce this, and possibly get the error itself, please? I would run evolution from console, as it sometimes use to print the error first there, then only show in UI.
