Description Matthew Booth 2012-05-11 14:29:33 UTC
Description of problem:
I want to run a tty on ttyS0 on a system whose console isn't on ttyS0. I can do this with:

systemctl start getty

I would expect to be able to make this permanent with:

systemctl enable getty

However, this gives the error:

Failed to issue method call: No such file or directory

Creating the appropriate link in /etc/systemd/system/getty.target.wants works fine.
