Description of problem:

This used to exist in modutils/module-init-tools. It doens't exist in kmod, and it probably should.

1. run 'man modprobe.conf'

No manual entry for modprobe.conf

Hm...  maybe.  

kmod doesn't actually parse /etc/modprobe.conf at all.  You can put whatever you want in there and it's utterly ignored.  It _does_ look at anything ending in .conf in /etc/modprobe.d though, and it provides modprobe.d(5) already, which provides the same documentation as the old modprobe.conf(5) man page did.  (In m-i-t, the modprobe.d.sgml source file is just a symlink to modprobe.conf.sgml.)

So, given that it already ships the information required, is that sufficient?  Otherwise, I'm going to wind up making a symlink in the spec file that just points modprobe.conf -> modprobe.d

A spec file symlink so that 'man modprobe.conf' returns the new man page is fine with me.
