Description of problem:
To make datasources fault tolerant to db outages, some properties need to be added for automatic connection validation.

The template datasources should either contain these properties, or a hint that these should be added:
https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/solutions/19286

This would make the recommended configuration settings more obvious, and/or produce a safer environment out of the box.
