Updated software through PackageKit (rpm-fusion-free and non-free repo files). After the update was finished, the dialogue with title "All software is up to date" and text "There are no software updates available for your computer at this time." was displayed and "flashing", i.e appearing and disappearing fast. I pressed the "OK" button and the program quit and the abrt-applet reported this crash. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.0-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) incident intervenu juste après mise à jour adobe flash player et rpm fusion backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) was installing updates for rpmfusion repo configs, it showed 2 updates to the configs at the same time. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) ao instalar os repositórios do rpm fusion e atualizar em seguida backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) An automatic update had just finished (updating the rpmfusion keys). There was no user indication that there was a crash, just this abrt report backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) just installing rpmfusion backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) This problem occured during a system update. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) I installed RPM Fusion free and non-free repositories graphically via this web page: http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration/. I then opened "add/remove software to check the repos had been added followed by a manual check for updates. First sign of something wrong was repeated display of 'job done' type "ok" dialog boxes stacking on top of each other until the above error message popped up. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) I have already reported this bug. This occurence is the result of a reinstall of Fedora 17 after a grub failure in Ubuntu when I updated it. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) 1. Download rpm-fusion-free rpm. 2. Install it. 3. Check for updates with "Software Update". 4. Update proposed RPM-Fusion packages. 5. Wait for message "No more updates available" - the dialog windows appear in a lot. 6. Click Ok button in one of the windows. 7. Catch the segmentation fault. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) I was closing the update manager backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) it appears when the message that the update is complete showed up backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) a very end of upgrade process, clicked on OK dialog. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) Started an update. As the update finished, it popped up the message "No new updates" a few times and then crashed. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) After update backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.4.2-1.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) clicked office sestion in left pane, selected libreoffice writer, then clicked "pending" at the top in left pane, and I tried to click on "apply" backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.6.1-1.fc18 OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow) Installed upgrades, and clicked OK on the "Updates will require a restart" dialog box. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: gnome-packagekit-3.6.1-2.fc18 OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow) This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 17. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '17'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 17 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. Fedora 17 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-07-30. Fedora 17 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. |
