Description Brian Johnson 2000-01-07 18:21:38 UTC
Durring my soundconfig of NeoMagic it will detect it then come up with a
optiont "This sound module can crash dell aspire 3500 are you sure you want
to continue" yes/no
if i hit yes nothing happens... just sits there.. it doesn't lock up... i
can keep hitting the yes button and nothing happens.. but if i click no it
backs out of sndconfig no problems
How would i go about getting my soundcard to work if i can't use the
sndconfig

IF you grab the latest sndconfig RPM from Raw Hide, it will
allow you to select 'yes' for this. Be warned, the driver will
lock up:

- Inspiron 3500
- HP Omnibooks with Neomagic chipsets
- possibly others
