Description of problem:
The Grub chain loader for an existing partition was corrupted by installation of
the Phoebe beta, leaving the first system unusable.

Situation: Existing RedHat 8.0 athlon installed on hda, /boot on hda1, / on
hda2, and swap on hda3.

Action: Install RedHat 8.0.93 on hdb, / on hdb1 and no separate /boot partition.
Use common swap partition, and both platforms in Grub on hda MBR. RedHat 8.0
installation to be the default boot.

Result: After completing the above dual-boot setup, the chain loader for the
RedHat 8.0 installation is corrupt, and that system cannot be booted anymore.

To chainload, you have to have one of the copies of grub installed on a
partition, not both on the MBR.
