Description of problem:
boinc-client can no be started

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
boinc-client-6.12.43-1.r25218svn.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. systemctl start boinc-client
2.
3.
  
Actual results:
nothing

Expected results:
the file "/usr/lib/systemd/system/boinc-client" should be rename to
"/usr/lib/systemd/system/boinc-client.service".
That is the mechanism used to start daemon, the cli is,
# systemctl start boinc-client.service

Additional info:
for reboot
sytemctl enable boinc-client.service

boinc-client-6.12.43-2.r25218svn.fc17 package make the system collapse.
And i do not know why.

What do you mean by "make the system collapse"? That during the update the system hangs?

# systemctl start boinc-client

you wait 10 sec
and computer has stop

what happend ? i do not know
you restart computer, that is, push the front button on computer box.
the question now is, do i have a trace of what happend ?
the answer is no, /var/log/messages is all i have

Package boinc-client-6.12.43-2.r25218svn.fc17:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing boinc-client-6.12.43-2.r25218svn.fc17'
as soon as you are able to.

Can you reproduce the hangup? By the way, it should be "systemctl start boinc-client.service", not "systemctl start boinc-client".

boinc-client-7.0.29-1.r25790svn.fc17 has been pushed to the Fedora 17 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
