Description Tore Anderson 2012-06-11 08:29:04 UTC
ssmtp contains a patch which lowers the default UID value for system accounts (which affects the "root=" setting in ssmtp.conf) to <500.

This does not correspond to Fedora's current default, where system accounts are <1000. See <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/1000SystemAccounts>.

The patch should therefore be dropped.
