script files >= 4k bytes in length have issues:
commands are broken up in two parts when crossing a 4k
boundary.

script file issue seems to be fixed in lftp-4.3.8-1.fc16

Package lftp-4.3.8-1.fc17:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing lftp-4.3.8-1.fc17'
as soon as you are able to.
