Description Chao Ye 2012-06-13 03:42:53 UTC
Description of problem:
I found ibus share the same input method among all applications, that's really annoying. And I can't disable it in setting panel. I'm using KDE.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ibus-0:1.4.99.20120428-2.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Shift to ibus-pinyin
2.Change a app, it's ibus-pinyin too
3.

Actual results:
Share the same input method among all applications

Expected results:
At least we can make our own choose.

This is our direction not to have the local input method state by input context.
The sharing the input method state is important to work with XKB.
We have been consolidating the input methods and keyboard layouts and provided them in the same menu and the setting per window would be a problem now.
