Description Roman Hodain 2012-06-19 08:20:38 UTC
Description of problem:
When I remove an Active Directory from the engine. The related record from DB are removed but the configuration in /etc/rhevm/krb5.conf remains in the file.

This only ahppen when more then one AD is configured

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhevm-config-3.1.0_0001-14.el6ev.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rhevm-manage-domains -action=add -domain=domain1 -user=vdcadmin -provider=activeDirectory -interactive

2. rhevm-manage-domains -action=add -domain=domain2 -user=vdcadmin -provider=activeDirectory -interactive

3. rhevm-manage-domains -action=delete -domain=domain2

Actual results:
The krb5.conf file is not updated

Expected results:
The relevant records from krb5.conf are removed after AD removal.

Is there any consequence to this, other than polluting the file a bit?

Comment 2 Roman Hodain 2012-06-19 10:55:33 UTC
I suppose not I have tried to add the domain ones more to the engine and it works.
I would not say that this is a major issue, but after some time the file could be really messy I guess. Depends on how often the customer will change the configuration.

From my point of view it is an easy fix. It has to be clarifyed by somebody who understands the code.
