I started Flumotion Streaming Server Administration after installing flumotion and in wizard I selected starting new manager. Package: flumotion-0.10.0-2.fc17 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) I hit this as well in Fedora 18. It looks like the upstream release of flumotion-0.10.1 fixes this with compatibility with Twisted 12. A bump to the latest upstream and a rebuild made this work for me. This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 17. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '17'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 17 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. Hi again, just noting that a simple bump to the latest upstream release should fix this. *** Bug 1105834 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 919730 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I don't believe a simple update to 10.1 fix this and since 2012-7-06 nobody did . Thomas I'm going request commit permissions to do it , please let me do it . *** Bug 1051807 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Another user experienced a similar problem: I tried to start a local manager instance from Flumotion Admin. reporter: libreport-2.2.3 cmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/flumotion-manager --rundir=/tmp/tmpstWGTl.flumotion/var/run --logdir=/tmp/tmpstWGTl.flumotion/var/log -D --daemonize-to /home/alewis --service-name admin /tmp/tmpstWGTl.flumotion/etc/managers/admin/planet.xml executable: /usr/bin/flumotion-manager kernel: 3.17.7-200.fc20.x86_64 package: flumotion-0.10.0-7.fc20 reason: common.py:393:assertSSLAvailable:AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'sslEnabled' runlevel: N 5 type: Python uid: 1000 *** Bug 1177383 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** flumotion-0.10.1-1.fc22 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 22. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/flumotion-0.10.1-1.fc22 flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc22 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 22. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc22 flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc21 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 21. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc21 flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc20 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 20. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc20 Package flumotion-0.11.0.1-2.20140103git886031a.fc21: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 23 development cycle. Changing version to '23'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 23 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 23 End Of Life. Thank you.)
