Impossible to inserte a caracters

How reproducible:
All the time


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create à new mail
2.Type your message
3.Insert your signature
4.Type a new caracter, nothing append.

Workaround to continue :
With your mouse, use the right clic and change in the menu
But all the time is necessary you use another fonctionality to continue your message.

I reinstall F17 on another hardware and the same issue appear.
X220 Lenovo and E30 WorkStation Lenovo

I use KDE last version and the last version of Evolution

Thanks for a bug report. KDE has trouble with standard combo boxes of GTK3, it freezes input even with comboboxes from gtk3-demo.

Thanks for a bug report. There is filled a similar upstream bug [1], thus I'm moving this there. Please see [1] for any further updates. If possible, please CC yourself there, in case upstream developers will have additional questions.
