Description of problem:

At the moment only IPA, AD, RHDS and ITDS are supported as directory service. 

Please support OpenLDAP as well so people without the mentioned services can use oVirt as well.

can you please provide some details on your openldap scheme?
on kerberos frontend to it (if any)?

It was introduce in oVirt 3.3
