Description Dennis Björklund 2003-02-15 17:20:53 UTC
If one wants to use a remote control with redhat 8 one have to compile a kernel
from scratch, not fun. It would be nice if you could support remote controles
and include compiled lirc kernel modules.

More and more people are putting together media boxes using linux. Remote
control support is important.

Add my vore to this !

Also package lirc itself, if possible.

I want to use my remote ( that came with the TV card ) !

Comment 2 Marcin Garski 2004-08-23 21:33:58 UTC
Next vote (for lirc package also) !

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases,
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
