Doc Text:
Content Search previously loaded endlessly when an empty input type for Errata or Severity was present. This was fixed in the current version and performing a search on content type "Errata" and using the input "type:" will perform a search and produce an empty data set instead of loading endlessly.

Description Hayk Hovsepyan 2012-08-01 15:45:19 UTC
Description of problem:
If you search errata by specifying empty type, it loads endless in right part.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Katello Version: 1.1.0-1.git.10.b1a330e.el6_3

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import some manifest which repos contain errata. For example standart ACME_Corporation manifest with RHEL6.

2. Activate the repo " Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Server RPMs x86_64 6Server" and sync it.

3. From UI go to Content > Content Search. Select "Errata" in Content dropdown to search. Input "type:" in search field and click "Go" button. It loads endless, which is bug.

Actual results:
Endless loading is on right part.

Expected results:
It should finish search and show empty list of errata on right part.

Comment 2 Mike McCune 2012-08-07 16:05:24 UTC
we see this error in the console:

[09:04:30.278] POST https://katello-git.usersys.redhat.com/katello/content_search/errata [HTTP/1.1 422 Unprocessable Entity 10615ms]

Comment 3 Eric Helms 2012-08-27 20:01:41 UTC
As of current master (392d523934ee4ae9d14f8822c1bbc6b129b28f40) I am unable to produce this error. Selecting Content Type "errata" and using input "type:" performs a search and produces and empty data set.

getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
