I'm guessing it's the user networking (ie. SLIRP) which is causing this: <interface type='user'> <mac address='52:54:00:61:0c:af'/> <alias name='net0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x03' function='0x0'/> </interface> -netdev user,id=hostnet0 -device rtl8139,netdev=hostnet0,id=net0,mac=52:54:00:61:0c:af,bus=pci.0,addr=0x3 It's disappointing that slirp is broken again :-( When i try to access the guestos from serial console followed by restoring and resuming the guestos from saved state, the package qemu-system-x86 crashes. I enterred following commands: $virsh restore fedora.save #fedora.save is the state file of the domain $virsh resume fedora #fedora is the domain name $virsh restore fedora The first two commands run successfully. But when i try to execute third command, it aborts with opning abrt-applet adn saying problem has occurred in qemu-system-x86 package. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: qemu-system-x86-1.0-18.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) I think this is: http://git.qemu.org/?p=qemu.git;a=commit;h=b248ede2ef2792d364bd305e5e92e24921c924a8 http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2012-02/msg01542.html qemu-1.0.1-2.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/qemu-1.0.1-2.fc17 Package qemu-1.0.1-2.fc17: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
