Description of problem:
Under RH8.0, any attempt to update any package using up2date fails with:

Test install failed because of package conflicts:
package glibc-2.2.93-5 is already installed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run up2date
2. Select any package to update
3.
    

Actual Results:  A dialog came up with:

Test install failed because of package conflicts:
package glibc-2.2.93-5 is already installed

I am not using a stock kernel:
