Created attachment 610428 [details] compose-and-latex-input-methods-are-invisible-in-ibus.png Supported languages should not be left empty in a table. For an input method which has LANGUAGES set to an empty string, nothing at all is shown by ibus when trying to change to that input method using the trigger key which makes the input method hard to select. See attached screenshot, see the empty space between “en” and “zh” surrounded by a dotted rectangle. Using “other” (which is abbreviated to “ot”) similar to the other input methods not specific for a certain language is better than nothing. Probably it would be nicer to show icons instead of the texts, as in the gnome3 panel.
