update: whiole entering the report, ooffice managed eventually to open the doc, but in it's 694 files i can see only junk strings, not the real text content, visible in abiword. it is true that at opening , it asked for the character code etc, like opening an unknonw encoding text file. update 2: the page count is not 694, is 57694 ! Need to dig out the commit on that and backport it ah yes, http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=50d89530eee57afb890e2e65aac8a5b0f93a74a3 was the commit to fix this problem IIRC. will be good in >= libreoffice-3.5.6.2-4.fc17 if/when we do another update libreoffice-3.5.6.2-4.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libreoffice-3.5.6.2-4.fc17 i don't find yet 3.5.6.2-4 in updates-testing. i'll try again asap. Package libreoffice-3.5.6.2-4.fc17: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing libreoffice-3.5.6.2-4.fc17' as soon as you are able to.
