Comment 1 Johan Swensson 2013-10-29 20:35:28 UTC
Do you have any details on this? What options are missing?

Comment 2 Filip Holec 2013-10-30 12:04:32 UTC
Options missing in man and help of /usr/bin/acpi:
    * --version
    * --hide-empty

Still an issue in acpi-1.5-6.fc20.x86_64

Comment 3 Johan Swensson 2013-10-30 14:36:21 UTC
Strange, I just tested
acpi-1.5-6.fc20.x86_64
and
acpi-1.5-5.fc19.x86_64

I can see --version in both man file and --help.
I will look into --hide-empty.

Comment 4 Filip Holec 2013-10-30 14:38:45 UTC
Yes, --version is in both man and help message. The compare-options script said it is not present there.

Option --hide-empty is the only one missing.

Comment 5 Johan Swensson 2013-11-01 15:00:14 UTC
The --hide-empty option is an old option that doesn't do anything any more.
It only prints the help screen.
Upstream intends to remove it all references to it in the next release.

Comment 10 Fedora End Of Life 2013-12-21 15:49:05 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '18'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be
able to fix it before Fedora 18 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior to Fedora 18's end of life.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.
