I guess you were changing your theme when this happened?

What theme were you changing to? Does it do this everytime you change to that one?

It happened while playing a game. It happens when I play games - Any. I usually play hearts, and different solitaire games, majhong, pokerth, etc. Usually solo games. I do have a LOT of stuff on my desktop taskbars.

I will get the theme that's loaded, but it not a special one. It came in the Fedora 17 install download LIVE CD (dark blue mouse on a light blue background, with a large transluscent looking oval from the top left to the bottom right). I will post more on it when I'm back at my PC.

It may have happened while changing theme, as you suggested, I only noticed the ABRT icon in taskbar after hearts crashed.

I was having an issue with lxde controls bleeding into xfce, kde & gnome, so I uninstalled it from my system. There may have been something from lxde because many of my icons in xfce changed afte uninstalling lxde. Lxde wasn't running badly. I really just didn't need it doing what I wanted xfce & gnome to do. I was trying to find an OS that would put my menus as a list view rather than like android/iphone apps. Xfce does that without a lot of trying to find the proper app to cause list view of apps/programs installed, in the menu. Thank you all for your diligence & hard work. I love Xfce. I did keep gnome & kde because so many of their apps work fine in xfce, if you know how to find them & start them. Fedora is great. Thanks.
