CPU overload + shutting down PC Package: xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.12.4-2.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) Some process got out of control, lost leyborad input and mouse was almost totally unresponsive. XFCE panel monitors showed mem usage hit top, swap = none, processor off the scale. significant disk. Heard the disk being hammered. Happened a day ago, stopped it by killing chrome. Couldn't get to kill chrome this time. Did Ctl-Alt-Bksp.
