Okay, so should vconsole.font=<fontname>, ... now be on the command line for the kernel in /etc/default/grub? (In reply to comment #1) > Sorry, the error message was wrong. > > SYSFONT -> vconsole.font > FONT -> vconsole.font > > KEYTABLE -> vconsole.keymap > KEYMAP -> vconsole.keymap > > FONT_MAP -> vconsole.font.map > CONTRANS -> vconsole.font.map > > FONT_UNIMAP -> vconsole.font.unimap > UNIMAP -> vconsole.font.unimap > > UNICODE -> vconsole.font.unicode > > EXT_KEYMAP -> vconsole.keymap.ext So where can we use these names? Where should they be specified if they are wanted? yes, on the kernel command line. see "man vconsole.conf" and "man dracut.cmdline" dracut-024-5.git20121019.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. Yeah, dracut is right! anaconda or grubby should have fixed your kernel command line. Or just do it yourself by editing /etc/grub.cfg how editing /etc/grub.cfg? (In reply to oliver from comment #14) > how editing /etc/grub.cfg? # sudo gedit /etc/grub*.c* |
