Description of problem:
When sitting idle for about thirty minutes or when istalling packages with yum (either cli or yum-extender) a kernel panic occurs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):3.5.4-1.fc17.x86_64


How reproducible:
This can be reproduced everytine when using yum. Otherwise it is 50/50.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start yum-extender (or sudo yum)
2.select a package (such as gedit)
3.select apply and as the packages are downloading the kernel panics.
  


Additional info: I suspect this may be something to do with the broadcom wifi drivers. I have an wmp300n (BCM4321 chipset) wifi pci card installed. I then installed the kmod-wl package which installed broadcom-wl and a kernel package.

That's a bug in the wl driver according to the traceback.  We can't fix that.

You might try with the brcm80211 drivers instead.
